We spend four nights at The Tiing The good: - Staff is very pleasant and service minded. - Rooms/Appartment is stunning (if you choose jungle view, you will have both jungle view from pool, and sea from terrace. - Very remote and more local experience. The less good or bad: - Every service such as Yoga, Tours and Transfers is wayyy overpriced. They have a stunning dedicated Yoga spot however no one is using it probably due to the price. - The restaurant is also very expensive compared to our other experiences. Breakfast is decent, lunch and dinner is very moderate if not underwhelming. We went to a local place called Warung Seni instead, way better food and prices. - The Pool area is outdated (furnitures especially) and it’s very difficult to find a spot in sunlight for tanning. The staff/rooms is 5 star, rest is not good enough unfortunately.

My wife and I stayed at the Tiing for 2 weeks. They arranged everything for us from airport pickup and dropoff to visiting all the local and not-so-local places. Where we had activities that weren't on the pre-made list, they helped us with planning and driving. We got to experience local ceremonies, swimming with turtles, many waterfalls, and even more temples. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful - from the people at the front desk (Sayu & Oxy) to all of the restaurant staff (Nyoman, Adi, Tadek). The room was immaculate and the private pool a huge bonus when the bigger pool had lots of sun. The food was delicious, the included breakfasts were incredibly nice with lots of options. We really enjoyed sipping tea as the sun came up, watching the boats come back from fishing. I'll be back for sure - one of the best holidays I've had in decades.

The staff is obviously hand picked from the most beautiful and friendly people on the island, they all have kind souls and are a real treat. The property is peaceful and well maintained. They make sure to keep every detail as close to perfect as possible, and the chefs cook up amazing dishes that are flavorful, delicious and will fill you up. 10/10 would recommend this as a stay away from the crowds.

It’s very quiet and very beautiful. The room is clean and staff are so 😊 nice. The food is amazing and you have your private pool if you live downstairs. It’s one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever been!

The property is very simple but had everything we needed. We loved being able to see the ocean and the mountains. The private pool was perfect for cooling off in. The restaurant on-site met all our needs. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Elskede ALT.

I spent the weekend at The Tiing Tejakula during Silence Day, and it was such a tranquil place to unwind. Despite the unfortunate weather—heavy rain for most of the time—the spacious villa offered a comforting refuge. We found it easy to relax in the living room, enjoying the breathtaking ocean view even as the rain poured outside. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, truly going out of their way to ensure we felt at home. They took the time to explain the dishes at the restaurant in detail, making our dining experiences even more enjoyable. One particularly kind housekeeping lady even invited some of the guests to join her for the Ogoh-ogoh festival on the evening before Silence Day, which was a thoughtful gesture that added a special touch to our stay. Overall, I left with wonderful memories from my time at The Tiing Tejakula. I initially booked the Ocean View villa, but I’m now considering the Mountain View option for next time. I believe I’d enjoy having the serene mountain view from the bedroom while still soaking in the ocean scenery from the living room and balcony. It’s a place that really captures the heart.
