Hampton Inn Minneapolis/Eagan

We have stayed here many times and we always enjoy the nice warm pool, the cozy rooms, and the good breakfast.

The ONLY issue we had this stay was a man entering our room at 8:30. I realize we did not have the tag on our door handle, but check-out is not until noon- nobody should be entering rooms before check-out.

Front desk clerk was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was hot and perfect on a snowy morning.

The $5 a day self parking fee was an insult. Why add an additional charge for staying at the hotel in the suburbs?

Showed up only to find neither of their elevators worked so I could not stay there. After hours of driving that was not appropriate. The staff member was kind- and obviously not at fault. She even offered me a first floor room that had a busted tv- but who pays hundreds of dollars for that.

We visited for just one night to catch a flight the next morning. Very friendly and professional desk agent who helped with information about the airport shuttle (fabulous to have available) and suggestions for dinner nearby. Very clean and maintained rooms and breakfast area. We were very pleased. I’ve stayed in many Hampton Inns all across the country - this is one of the best.

This was probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed over many years of visiting family in Minneapolis/ St. Paul. What was really refreshing was the friendly and accommodating staff making sure throughout our stay that all was well. We’ll definitely be back!

The new shade design and showers are fantastic. The pool was lovely, and the staff was wonderful.

The room does not have lighting at the desk, no room darkening curtains or shades, area road very noisy which affects sleep quality.
