Newport Condo at Legacy Dunes Resort

The location, pool and grounds where lovely. Being a ground floor condo was convenient from an accessibility perspective however we were subjected to endless noise from the residents above us. It was like there were a heard of elephants living above us. The adults had a screaming match one night at 2 am. We should have complained sooner – when we did, they acknowledged that they were very aware of the issue as they had complaints before. The sofa bed needs to be replaced and it would have been nice to have had a coffee table. There should be instructions on how to use the TV and the various remotes. The dinner set was odd- and the square mugs were awkward to drink from. There also should be a bread knife added to the utensil selection. Many other places we have stayed at have provided a starter kit of kitchen basics ie. coffee, salt and pepper. Needless to say we will not be renting that unit again.
