It was clean in the room

There was no soundproofing. It’s located in the heart of the old town, where people drink and hang out all night long (not just on weekends). I had a hunch this would be the case, but now I wouldn’t recommend staying here for just one night if you’re just passing through. A major downside for me is that the room door doesn’t lock from the inside; it’s just a magnetic door with a code on the outside that the staff know. On top of everything else, it was quite difficult to find the property, despite the directions, because there are no signs on it—it’s just an apartment building entrance. The entrance is under an archway by the trash bins, where there’s a lot of sticky liquid spilled nearby, and a homeless person lives nearby.

Due to sudden strike of pilots I couldn't get to Bilbao. Pension Lo Bilbao didn't accept my request to change the date of my reservation, they said it's too late according to their policy. So I lost money, paid for not to be there. Pension Lo Bilbao doesn't care about their guests, only about money.
