Somerset Caravan Park

Friendly staff, easy to beach and access to town.

This was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in.

Would be happy to stay there again if I was visiting or within the same area requiring accommodation.

The cabin was super cosy, we thought that for the price the cabin was going to be straight to the front of the big road with the traffic noise, but not, there was a garden, and we have a beautiful peaceful feeling during our stay. Everything in the cabin was working and clean. The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly, she was flexible with our check-in-check-out times, as we stay there because we needed to wait for our car to be fixed. The beach crossing the road was beautiful! We will try to come again before our holidays finish.

Everything was top notch from check in to check out. I needed to contact the caravan park to ask if my sister could check in on my behalf (as I was at the hospital later than expected), and there was no issues at all

We stayed in a small rustic wooden cabin - comfortable and nice and simple but had everything we needed. Our deck was lovely for sitting in the sun and relaxing and spacious enough for our family of four to sit around the table for meals and keep all our mountain bikes out of the rain too! The kids loved the pool table and budgies and lots of space for riding their mountain bikes around the park. The garden /BBQ /picnic table area at the front of the park was just beautiful, especially with the Spring flowers and cherry blossom trees. The owner was lovely and welcoming. The beautiful beaches opposite go for miles in both directions and are great for walking/ dogs/ swimming. We would be happy to come back next time we need accommodation in the Penguin to Wynyard area.

Cooktop didn’t work and the oven needed cleaning!

Had a lovely overnight stay in a warm and cosy cabin close to the beach.
