Quiet village, so it's very quiet at night

It's like the hotel is still frozen since covid time. No reception for check-in, pick up your key in a box. Still someone at the breakfast, slow, but there's someone...

The location

It was really noisy and way too expensive for what it is

Closeness to Phantasialand (12 minute car ride which the lady said was 8 - and I do drive FAST)

The whole elecrical system was an afterthought with plugs with only two contacts, which I am pretty sure should not pass test in Deutschland. Only accommodation in Germany where screws are not fitted properly. We should have walked out. No elevator - broken and the lady said no replacement part (yes, in Germany!) Owner could not accommodate any of our requests. Most state-burocrat-like behaviour in years. She could not or did not want to speak English. Breakfast was an extortionate 15 Euro per person in German countryside. We spent less in CENTRAL TAORMINA during peak season for a better room, which included air conditioning and a very good breakfast. A bargain if you consider that a room in Phantasialand costs an extortionate 500/night, but utterly disappointing.

Quiet location

Booked last minute and key not identified in keybox and didn't answer phone but booking.com managed to contact a lovely lady who called me with key details. Didn't need this after a 15 hour drive but thankfully the lady was cheerfull and calmed me down. Thank you. Pillows needed to be firmer but other than that all good.

Contactless check-in in the late hours. I was just confused as I had to choose my room myself.
