Moonlight House

A pleasant stay with very nice and helpful people.

The communication with the hosts was excellent. They were very kind and flexible. The breakfast was wonderful, with local ingredients and marigold tea from the garden. The bathroom was very modern with a great shower. The place was the perfect combination of traditional living (sleeping on a thin mattress with traditional bedding) and modern amenities - underfloor heating, wifi, good bathroom facilities.

The location is remote and difficult to get to without a car but our hosts were very kind and dropped us off/picked us up from Cheongsong so this wasn’t a major limitation.

Le bon accueil, l’amabilité et la serviabilité du couple. Le jardin, malgré une météo défavorable. La proximité immédiate de quelques bâtiments historiques intéressants.

Je n’ai pas assez, dans mes réservations, prêté attention au fait que souvent en Corée dans les guest house les chambres sont presque nues. Pas de table. Pas de chaise. Parfois comme ici un tout petit oreiller. Ce qui, lorsque l’on est vieux et que l’on n’a pas l’habitude de vivre au sol, rend inconfortable le fait de manger et de passer la soirée (sur un futon tout mince, sans rien pour tenir son dos). Les toilettes et la salle de bains étaient situés en-dehors de la chambre, juste à côté, mais aller uriner à 5h00 du matin fin octobre à l’extérieur est moyennement agréable. Ce genre d’hébergement est probablement plus pertinent lorsqu’il fait beau (et que l’on peut manger dehors, dans le jardin).

This was a very special stay for us. The location is breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, the host treated us like family, building a special bond with our three year old girl. We didnt have a car, so the host went out of their way to drop us at the bus station so we could get the free bus to the national park, and then drove us to the next town so we could get the train to our next destination. Our little girl picked potatoes on the host's small farm, leaving her with special memories. We could not recommend Moonlight House any higher. The hosts and their home will always be in our hearts.

L’emplacement est incroyable, proche du parc naturel. Les hôtes sont adorables et très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

폭염 속 주왕산 국립공원 등산 후 지쳐 도착한 별달 숙소에서 완벽한 하룻밤을 보냈습니다. 지난 봄 화마를 잘 이겨내고 훌륭한 서비스를 제공주셔서 감사합니다.

산불피해로 일부 시설이 소실됐다 하셨다. 숙소 자체는 아무런 피해가 없어서 이용하는 데 불편함은 없었다. 주변이 매우 조용하고 여름임에도 밤에 시원한 바람이 방으로 들어와 시원했다. 옛날식 구조라서 천장이 매우 낮다.
