"Pleasant surprise."

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Previous reviews had me anxious with my choice to stay at this La Quinta. All those are out the window. They are working on upgrades to the old facility and doing a good job to have it not affect visitors. Clean, friendly and a nice breakfast to boot.

"Do not stay at this particular La Quinta"

Don't stay here if you can help it The building is crumbling. Stairs are replaced with 2x4s. Our shower curtain was mildewed. The tv didn't work. It was hard to find parking because 1/3 of the spaces are taken up by shipping containers. The elevator is broken, we had a 3rd floor room. AC stopped working part way through the night. We couldn't wait to leave. Sadly we only stayed here because all of the Marriott properties were booked

"Do not stay here not safe"

Do not let these pictures fool you. I am calling Texas health department to report them. I'm in shocked they are open. Only one outlet worked in our room. We checked in at 12am and a storm was coming so we had to stay and worked with what we had. Power went out and no electricity in middle of night By time power came on at 930am. To late to shower we had to get on the road. Refrigerator microwave broken. Place smelled like cigarettes. Hotel from Hell I can not believe Wyndham stands behind this.

"Good thing ot was for just one night"

The staff was friendly

The tpilet was clog, not enought towels, the value of the place for the price was high, breakfast food is food but not enough selection and waffle maker didn't work properly. I honestly wouldn't recommend for friends.

"Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel"

It was close to BSA hospital

The room was a non-smoker room and smelt like a smoking room. The bed liner was ripped, the floors were dirty, the restroom was dirty the shower looked as if it hasn't been cleaned in a VERY long time. It smelt disgusting in that room. There was some hard metal faucet looking things coming out of the wall, very dangerous if a person fell near them and hit themselves. Specs of paint on the floor, paint on the curtains. The WORST experience. And to add that kids were supposed to stay for free but when I added them it went up $300. I must add to this review that the night staff didnt know anything that I asked, I reserved 2 rooms and they almost didn't have my rooms for me. Awful experience.
