Pichi Richi Park

The location was amazing and very quiet. I was only able to stay one night on this occasion and it would have been nice to have more time to take hikes around the natural area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, communication with the owner was easy and checking in was problem free.

I was surprised to find there wasn't a cooking hotplate in the cabin, however there is a microwave and electric bbq on the verandah so we did manage to prepare a meal.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect—being from Melbourne driving to Perth, this was just an option to sleep at due to not liking the look of port Augusta. It’s in the middle of nowhere, in the best way possible. Hamish, his wife and little Binky have done an amazing job to make you feel welcome and accommodated. Though we didn’t know we needed Telstra sims for coverage in the area, we were delighted with the nature and ‘break’ from social media. The stay was perfect! We hope to be back again one day!

Very comfortable and clean cabin in a peaceful setting. Walking trails nearby and only a short drive into Quorn.
