Situju 7 Cruises

We were so fortunate that we got to spend two blissful nights on board this floating boutique boat-el! My fiancé and I had just finished a grueling 27-hour commute from Mataram to Labuan Bajo, and it was just a treat to be the only ones there! We couldn’t shake the feeling that we had already spent the perfect honeymoon accommodation and we haven’t even had a wedding! Fina, Captain Al Nasid and the rest of the crew were so warm and helpful. There’s always a smile on their faces :) The room we booked was Sumba and it was just stunning—dark wood with black iron panels. Warm lighting for lamps and ceiling side lightings, there’s also bright white lighting for practical purposes. The double bed was so comfortable and the pillows were divine! We slept straight out during our stay there, it was difficult to get up as we got so cozy in the bed! The linens and towels smelled great. Actually our room and the whole of the boat always smelled great! The Indonesian breakfast was just scrumptious! We had our fill of mie goreng and local fruits for breaky—hearty breaky! And really just hanging out there on the water, a dingy boat ride away from the hectic (and trashy) port of Labuan Bajo was just the perfect getaway. We spent the nights up on the top deck gazing at the stars and the village lights. A real romantic place to be :>

I have been traveling around Indonesia now for nearly 6 weeks and I have to say my three nights on board the Situju, moored out in the harbour at Labuan Bajo was the most enjoyable.Quiet, comfy cabin, comfortable bed with great pillows( a rarity in Indonesia) , great, beautifully presented food and a brilliant, attentive hostess and crew. Absolutely loved it!
