Saab Royale Resort

The cottages are very nice and very well kept. The WiFi is also really good. Great views.....wonderful pool area with a great pool attendant called Dennis. Only staff member I tipped because he truly goes above and beyond.

The meals were pathetic. There is a Chef there who does not listen to the customer's needs, some waiters who consistently overcharge for menu items that clearly have prices on them. For example....I was charged Kshs 700 for chicken nuggets which cost Kshs. 630 as per the price of the menu. You order Chicken lollipops as indicated in the menu and you are served chicken wings. Not the same thing! This is a wonderful facility with staff that have little to no professional wherewithal to successfully run a wonderful facility like this. Check in alone took ages because we had to wait for the receptionist to be found from wherever they were. They tried to force a Kshs 2500 per person buffet on me and my family. The problem isn't the price....the problem is that the food on offer at the buffet isn't worth that price. The way said food is prepared is even worse. It is like the chef has a problem with seasoning. Even basic seasoning like salt was none existent with the food we ordered. I sense that the chef kept making my orders badly to force me to go the buffet way. Pathetic! You are in Maasai land....is it so hard to find someone who can make good nyama....not the rubbish we had to eat because Kajiado is over an hours drive from the facility. No microwave in the room as advertised....no TVs in the cottages as well. So if you are planning a visit...carry your own entertainment. Recommendation: Hire a new chef because the one you have isn't a fit for the facility you have. Train your staff on how to take care of their customers. No TVs in the cottages so carry your own entertainment should you choose to visit. Also carry your own drinks. Kajiado is too far.

Great rooms and view

Slow staff service and food for vegetarians not really good. Better tell them in advance

The facilities and amenities were nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

The property is not on google maps so you have to call the resort to get directions. There is not enough signage on the main road leading to the property.

Add more sign posts since you're not on Google maps , reduce your drinking water prices, 200 for 500 mls is too high
