Saab Royale Resort

Saab Royale Resort is quite off the beaten path about 15km from Kajiado town. The hotel itself is a secluded in the hills near the wind power plant. We had a great time there and were lucky to have the pool to ourselves on one of the days, Kamau the lifeguard was amazing, likewise were the staff from reception, the restaurant and housekeeping. Thank you to Robert, Simon, Alex, Will and Ramadhan. The rooms are comfortable, modern and spacious. Phone signal isn't the best but they have good quality internet. Keep an eye out for the ostriches and the peacock.

I went there for a 2nights and The location is nice (my 2nd visit since I had been there before) I like the views and the comfort it offers, the scenery and the relaxation that comes with the whole place, the staff members are very friendly and prompt - Mr simon wanjala at the restaurant was very nice to us.

- There was no buffet on our 2nd day SPIDERS!!!!! - My room was infested with spiders!!! I have a phobia for spiders so I couldn't sleep cz they also don't have a sleeping net to protect me. 1ST night I saw baby spiders on my bed, they sprayed I thought they were dead but no - I still saw them when I kept waking up at night because I was paranoid and couldn't sleep 2nd day I took a nap in the evening and I woke up with 2 adult spiders on the bed - I complained and requested a change of room in vain, they sent people to spray and I asked why aren't the spiders dying and why can't I smell anything and the staff(with a Mombasa accent) told me maybe I have had too much alcohol so I can't smell - yet I was taking juice that evening.....and later found out it was odorless doom - I was only given odorless doom to spray for the night and the spiders were not responsive(maybe cz they are wild from the forest) , i was forced to kill them with slippers at night - I still saw several and morning too they were just moving around even in the bathroom (2nd day was udult spiders) - sent some pics to the reception.
