Hampton Inn Loveland

The walls, and doors are very thin. I could hear everything in the rooms next to me, even the party, and brief argument in the hall one night. One issue, I was in an accessible room. I didn't need it but that is where I was put. I noticed the bathroom door wouldn't stay open. That would be a BIG problem for someone with a wheelchair.

Selected this location because we are Hilton Honors club loyalists and wanted to stay close (but outside of) Fort Collins for CSU Commencement weekend. Our preferred spot is Home2Suites in Fort Collins itself. What a hidden gem this Hampton Inn is! Jim Martinez at the front desk, Marissa and Joyce handling the lovely breakfast spreads we enjoyed, a Pelaton onsite and a Trek store within walking distance made this a perfect pick our current stay. Hilton does it right, as does Hampton Inn (and shout out to our other local fave Home2Suites)!

Pros: - The bed was comfortable and the alarm clock had nice charging capabilities. - Walking distance to Target and several food options. - The included breakfast was convenient and better than a motel. - Palatable coffee in the room, and in the lobby. Cons: - Their computer system did not seem to process my change via Expedia to move one of my rooms from Saturday night to Friday night, even though my room confirmation confirmed my change. - They almost gave me someone else's room who had the same first name because of this. That would have sucked for that person! Fortunately they still had another available room (probably because I booked it?). - Please note that the receptionist made sure to let me know that all of this was my fault, despite the fact that I had confirmations and had paid the difference when I changed the reservation. - They charge for parking. - Seriously, they charge for parking. - At no point did they ask us if we had cars, they just charged us for parking. - The room was adequately clean. However, there was either a blood stain or red wine stain on the bathroom wall. We played a game called "drunk or murdered?" the entire weekend. - We stayed for 2 nights but housekeeping skipped our room. Not a big deal, just weird considering that there is a QR code to tip the housekeeper displayed prominently in the room. - They told me they would remove the parking charge, but did not. I had to call again after the charge posted and talk to another hostile receptionist (maybe the same one who made checking in so unpleasant? No way to know!).

Great place for an overnight stay

Stayed here for a volleyball tournament and it was not too bad. Smaller, older hotel but the service was good and it was clean. The room was very clean upon arrival, had a little bit of a smell, but I think that was just the age of the hotel because everything looked very clean and I even check under the sheets on the mattress which was good.

Everything was fine until we tried to sleep. Must be an older building because you could hear every toilet flush. We were on the first floor and from 6:00 AM till 7:30 there was a ridiculous amount of noise from people above us. Sounded like the were running

Staff was incredibly friendly and professional

The hotel is definitely showing its age with quite a bit of wear and tear. It could use a refresh.
