Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar - Adults Only

This is our second holiday at this hotel, stylish, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Rooms are spotlessly clean, housekeeping so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Reception is smart with marble, plants, views across the remarkable bay. You walk into the hotel and feel like you’re in a five star hotel. My ONLY negative comment is the restaurant and the quality of the food. For me the restaurant is a huge part of my holiday experience and I enjoy fine dining. Many would disagree with me “it’s okay” but okay don’t cut it. I have learnt going all inclusive isn’t a great deal unless you have kids in tow. The quality of the food is very average ie none crispy bacon, mass produced hash brown served frozen in the middle! That said the choice is endless fruits, cold meat, yogurt, cereals, toast, eggs and pancakes cooked to order. You learn to steer away from the bad dishes and not to overload your plate. We opted for b&b and took advantage of the local very affordable restaurants and bars. This option actually saved us money over the all inclusive. We did sample the evening restaurant last year and were massively disappointed, seriously the food was bland and I would not recommended after my experience. Located on the most stunning of clean safe beach’s on the island and amenities anyone would require. Something about this resort screams smart and stylish. If you hate the Magaluf type resorts and crave peace and relaxation, you found it. Idea for children with a shaded play area, life guard, beach shops, and toilets. This beach is what makes Spain the best place to holiday in the Mediterranean and the Spanish do it so well. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the hotel and resort, no loud booming music, no nasty cheap restaurants, no litter, a beautiful beach and family friendly. Highly recommend.

L'environnement est parfait, une vue magnifique, des balades à couper le souffle (dans tous les sens du terme), et de nombreux services à proximité comme des restaurants et des boutiques.

La struttura è grande, accogliente, pulita e posizionata in uno degli scenari più belli dell'isola. La colazione è abbondante e variegata, con particolare attenzione alle intolleranze alimentari. Abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno qui.

Great place with a great view. Big choice of breakfast and dinner (all buffee).The staff was very nice , the best thing was no music at the swimming pool , and just a little at the bar and restaurant which was very relaxing. Its a hotel for 65+ so nice and quite guest (with exeptions like always).

My single room was practically attacked to the lift, that means noise 24-24 from the working lift and people waiting for the lift (specialy americans ) . Absolutely no soundproofing in the room, you can hear everything. Even peoole talking loud in the other room (Americans)-but the reception helped with that so all good. The chairs in the room they make a horrible noise while moved , and you will hear them constantly from other rooms around.(And some people wake up super early ). Plus many ants in the bathroom

Really great place to stay , 65+ is the main peoole here so nice a quite. No music at the swimming pool just relax and read a book place.Nice bar with amazing view for a coffee and some snacks and buffee for breakfast and dinner with plenty of options. Room was big a spacious , very clean .

No soundproofing in the rooms sadly, so if you have loud neighbours you might have a hard time like me, with a music on the stereo full volume 8am ( not everybody on vacation wanna wake up so early) not sure why its even allowed. Plus the very noisy chairs in the room and balcony and they are constantly moved ( the noise is extremely) Plus my see view with the tree in the middle was the cherry on the top( where i specifically asked for a good see view for a foto) And i got tree view just in the corner.

We spent 11 days in this excellent adults only hotel. It also has a very good mix of clients of all ages. Location with lovely scenery and a gorgeous beach. The Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar is everything a 4* hotel should be. Spotless, lovely comfortable rooms with good size balcony. Food is outstanding. The food is hot, plentiful and with great variety each night. A table at the side has food from different wold cuisines every night. Breakfast is excellent. Great variety of everything you could want. Also, we could eat outside on the patio or indoors. No pushing and shoving in the dining room even though the hotel was full. The staff in this hotel are wonderful, and in all areas of the hotel they speak other languages particularly English, French and German. Pleasant, helpful and professional and always with a smile. We will mention Deniesse and Aurelia in the dining room. The bar restaurant has also got great food. Reasonably priced. Entertainment every night in the hotel bar until 11. The hotel manager is always on site and available to clients. The only thing we could fault was the usual. Clients out at 7am to put towels on the sunbeds and then not taking the beds until later in the day. Not very nice in a 4* of this calibre. There are no sunbeds on the lovely sandy beach because of the local Government rules that local should have access {they do} but not having sunbeds is a serious problem for older clientele. Overall the hotel is to be highly recommended. We will be returning.

Our first stay in this lovely friendly hotel, and it will not be our last. Such a friendly atmosphere. We booked a twin room, (two beds together making it huge) sea view and balcony and we were not disappointed. The room was immaculately clean, Dora did a fabulous job! The lifeguard is very helpful to any guests needing sunbeds/cushions etc On my birthday I had a bottle of fizz and glasses left in the room, which was a lovely surprise from the hotel :) They even had my daughters flowers she ordered from a local florist from Canada delivered to my room :) We booked half board, glad we did, the food was beautiful. The restaurant is nice and airy and tables not all cramped together. The food was so nice we only ate out once for my birthday, we usually go out a few times for dinner, but we did not want to, which is unusual, and it's probably the best food, in taste and presentation that we've ever had in a 4 star hotel. The chefs and all the staff are a credit to this hotel. A very BIG shout out to Rodrigo, who was amazing at organising the daytime activities for guests, we had a lovely last 3 days playing all the games/quiz etc we just wish he had been there the week before, as there were no daytime activities our first seven days, and we were only there 10 days, maybe it's just a seasonal thing, but it made our holiday even more memorable and special, as we love doing activities with other guests and Rodrigo made it so much fun :) Kettles and tea making facilities in the room were a blessing. Theres not much in the way of shops here, but that suited us very well, it's only a 15 min bus ride to lots of shops etc We just enjoyed the natural beauty and being out of the hustle and bustle of busy towns and built up tourist areas. We will definitely be returning next year and would highly recommend this wonderful hotel which is situated in a beautiful place.

We have been to the hotel many times over the last 20years and have always enjoyed the experience of a great location and a well run and spotless hotel. However we both thought that the evening meal is not up to the standard it has been in previous years especially the carvery area which does not seem to have the choice it did in the past. Something we feel could be easily rectified. All other aspects of the hotel were still very good
