Landhotel Fuchs

The people were amazing, very kind and service oriented! When we arrived on the first day the kitchen was already closed, but they still made us dinner, which was greatly appreciated. They also remembered our breakfast drinks. It’s little things like this that make you want to come back. Beds were also comfortable, everything was clean. Food was very good, we chose to have dinner in the hotel every night. Good vegetarian options. Very good value for price.

We booked this hotel to spend a night on our way to Italy. Simple but clean and comfortable rooms, decent breakfast and kind owners.

The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but everything worked and the beds were comfy enough so nothing to complain about really. Construction crane in front of our room was noisy during the day but it stopped working in the evening so no problem there either.

We stayed at Landhotel Fuchs with our medium sized dog and felt welcomed very warmly immediately upon arrival. The rooms are generously sized and the beds are very comfy. Some parts of the hotel are still in the process of being renovated, but this only adds to the design mix of modern and rustic and works well for the Hotel. Breakfast was included and very good, including delicious self made bread, fresh fruit and we could even request vegan milk, cheese, spreads and yogurt! We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which again was amazing and included vegan options. Seats are available at the terrace or inside. Especially great was that our dog was able to accompany us to breakfast and dinner on the terrace. In the room where the breakfast buffet is offered, dogs aren't allowed for hygiene reasons which we found sensible as well. Location is great as well and offers access to a variety of hikes and activities around the Hochschwarzwald, with parking being available right in front of the hotel. The owners are happy to share recommendations! All in all we had an amazing stay, especially thanks to the owner family and would absolutely stay again.
