Domus Antiqua San Lorenzo

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the old town, on a tiny square two steps fm the cathedral and a few more fm Porto Antico. Our hosts were very nice and helpful, thanks a lot once again

Can’t emphasise how brilliant and accommodating Claudio and Elena were. Both their apartment and communication are exceptional and I will 100% be back.

It's a beautiful place, located in the old town, 5 minutes walk to all the attractions. The apartment itself is amazing- located in very old building, but with all the modern amenities. The marriage of old and new inside it was perfect. Bed is big and comfy (doesn't look like it on pics, but it is big), there were enough pillows and blankets to keep you warm and cozy. The place was very clean and tidy, very well lit, the windows are amazingly soundproof- although the area in general is very quiet, there was some karaoke going on in a nearby bar, but we could barely hear them through closed windows. I personally loved the old wardrobe, ceiling and old furniture but also designer kitchen chairs and marble bathroom sink. The check in was easy and effortless, we even got videos of how to get to the place, which proved very handy, as the old town is a labirynth :) The contact with hosts was perfect, they answered all the questions and were very helpful all the time.

The location and the building are outstanding. Its central in the historic quarter. Within metres you will find all your vacation needs. Including delicious food outlets, supermarkets, green groceries, bars etc. The apartment is from 1150 with ceiling timbers from 1200, now sympathetically restored. Its very well equipped, kitchen, bathroom, TVs, apple computer and WiFi.

No natural ventilation in the bathroom

Location to port and town. All within a couple of minutes walk. Able to leave luggage as we had an evening flight. didn’t meet owner but communication through what’s app all good.

The only suggestion I would have is for a small coffee table in the lounge area for stinks and nibbles.

Beautiful apartment in a 14th century building right in the centre of town…yet set away! Interiors very modern and tastefully done but in keeping with the age of the property. Harbour, palazzi, museums and excellent restaurants all within easy access. Metro and buses within walking distance. Elena kept in touch with us through the stay making sure we were comfortable. All in all just what we wanted from a city break.

We stayed three nights. It was clean spacious with all the facilities you would expect. good shower, comfortable bed and amazingly quiet considering it is in the centre of a city. Modern facilities throughout. We were sent a video to guide us ti the property which worked very well for us. We were also given a code to get through the entrance gate and the door to the apartment We didn’t actually meet any staff hence the lower rating fir that aspect but honestly we didn’t need to. would thoroughly recommend a stay her.
