Everything you want from a B&B: Friendly owner, comfortable bed, good coffee and breakfast, clean and unfussy. The inn sits on the river with it's own dock. Lovely to watch the boats, marine life and the sun rise and set right from your own deck. There are nearby restaurants and a park within walking distance, with more eating options just a short drive away. We stayed in the spacious king suite, but the other two rooms looked equally as inviting. I especially appreciated the Jacuzzi tub. Patty, the owner, was welcoming and knowledgeable about the area... and the omelet for breakfast was delicious. Her dog, Jane, was well behaved and a real sweetheart. We were in town for a family event during the off-season and just stayed one night, but will definitely return again (though I am sure the area is a little more busy and loud in the warmer months - that is to be expected in a shore town). So much better than staying at a motel. I would feel safe staying here on my own.

First off, the host was great. Patty was always available, friendly, and created wonderful breakfasts. The Inn is very clean and comfortable, with firm but top-notch beds. The decor is aging a bit, but that's part of the charm. If you have a choice, pick the Captain's Suite or River View Room... they have views over the river, and are a bit bigger than the Lacey Room on the front of the house. While well kept, the outside of the house could use some paint; especially the back deck.

Beautiful house, right on river with marina. Restaurants in walking distance. Excellent hospitality and a terrific breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Location is excellent. River view. Rooms were large with high ceilings. Food was great. No regrets. Could become my 2nd home.
