"A character hotel in a Grade 1 building, with grounds to escape into, and superb public rooms."

Character property with history, superb grounds, and all very well maintained. Secure parking. Stunning dining rooms and lounges.

Pasta undercooked. Duvet far too thick/warm so a terrible night's sleep. Bed only 5 foot wide.

The location is delightful, in a tranquil position with great views. Our room was attractive, beautifully clean and very comfortable. All the staff were excellent, helpful, welcoming and professional. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice. The public rooms and the garden are absolutely stunning. There was also plenty of car parking space. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We would have appreciated some information beforehand about how to find the main entrance. Our phone brought us to the delivery entrance.

Everything. The long driveway, the welcome, the history of the Hall, audio tour both in and outdoors, classical music in every room including our bedroom! Food was exceptional. Beds were so comfortable, towels so cosy and room so clean.
