The Stone House Inn

This place is great. The owners obviously put their pride and hard work into making this place a wonderful place to stay!

This was a great place to stay while visiting the Black Canyon. It was clean, comfortable and well cared for. The owners were right there and very friendly. The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This place was adorable, very sweet little place. We were on a road trip driving thru Curecanti on the 50 past Dillon Pinnacles, thru Sapinero, then on the incredible views off the 92 having our minds blown at all the lookouts (Pioneer Lookout Point, Curecanti Needle) before arriving here very tired. We planned on going to Black Canyon of the Gunneson but the nearby entrance was closed so ask hotel if it's open if that is important to you. We drove to the BBQ place about 15 min away yummy and then slept well here.

Nice furnishings in a nice sized place. Parking reserved for you right in front of your room. Cookies waiting for you upon arrival - yum! Restaurant across the street makes for a nice stay in this quaint town.

The room was beautifully decorated with every little detail thought of. Very clean. Extremely comfortable bed. Very welcoming hosts. We only stayed one night but highly recommend The Stone House Inn to anyone traveling in the area.

This hotel is like a little gem. We were trying to find somewhere close to the North Rim of the Black Canyon since getting to the South Rim is tough with closure on highway 50. I was amazed at how cute, well decorated, homely and convenient this place was.

Very comfortable room. Checkin was all done on line. Place only has 2 rooms and note was left on our door to get in our room. Spacious room with bed, couch, refrigerator and microwave. Private bath. TV with lots of dvds and sling TV. Home sits right on the highway but traffic noise was minimal. Not much to do in Crawford but we were suggested to eat in Hotchkiss before coming here. PJ pub had great pizza as well as many other choices. Planning to visit the north rim of black canyon from here.

Lovely clean old stone building. Warm owners, everything we needed with in reach. Simply but nicely decorated. One of our better experiences with a smaller inn.

We loved our stay at the Stone House Inn. We only stayed one night on this trip, but we hope to come back and stay longer. It's very close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and the area was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very good about communication and the place itself was super comfy and accommodating. We loved the products they use in the bathroom.

Entire place was unique. Built in 1880’s. Bedroom had 14’ ceiling and long windows. Open a window and feel the cool mountain air. Bed very comfortable. Great breakfast delivered to room. Would definitely stay there again.
