"Hotel double charges your card beware if you pay by card!!"

I stayed here twice (3rd-4th Jan and 9th-10th Jan 2026). AND TWICE, the property double charged my card, transaction went through my card twice (not pending/not holding), funds were double-deducted from my bank balance (the double transaction had the same description, same CNY amount, same date and same merchant). Contacted property to rectify the issue but they kept insisting that they only charged once. I will be doing a merchant dispute with my bank.

AND TWICE, the property double charged my card, transaction went through my card twice (not pending/not holding), funds were double-deducted from my bank balance (the double transaction had the same description, same CNY amount, same date and same merchant). Contacted property to rectify the issue but they kept insisting that they only charged once. I will be doing a merchant dispute with my bank. I have stayed with the hotel in 2024 and did not encounter this issue because my wife paid for the stay via WeChat pay.
