Glaros Petit Hotel

We stayed in room 5 - the deluxe double room with side sea view for 4 nights. The communication, mainly from Stella, prior to our arrival by ferry was excellent. And there was a taxi waiting for us at the ferry port to take us the short ride to the hotel. The moment we stepped into the hotel we were struck by the exceptional cleanliness & beautiful smell in the reception area. Check in was quick & we were shown to our room. Where we found a complimentary bottle of local wine which was a lovely touch. Again the exceptional standard of cleanliness was continued into the room - which was bright & very well equipt. The hotel is in a brilliant location - a stones throw from the lovely beach with gorgeous tavernas & Naxos town apron 10 mins stroll away. The only small criticism was the breakfast didn't have enough healthy options - and contained a lot of homemade items that had cheese in. My husband doesn't like cheese so we didn't feel we got our money's worth at breakfast time but we made the best of what was available. Also COVID measures were still very evident - which may make some travellers more comfortable (I understand that) but being asked to wear a mask while you walk round a well ventilated breakfast buffet when there was only myself & my husband there seemed a bit excessive & sanitising the baggage when we arrived was unexpected. But would definitely stay here again if we visit Naxos & would recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Glaros. The property is beautiful, our 3rd floor room and spacious balcony were a great place to relax, the location is extremely convenient, and the staff was solicitous and friendly. Stella helped me with many questions throughout our planning process and was a delight. The breakfast buffet is beautiful, with different delicacies every day served outside on a lovely little balcony. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you, Glaros!
