部屋の中が何となく臭う。タバコではないんだけど清潔感のない匂い。 安く済ませようというのはわかるが、今どき使い捨てでないスリッパには閉口。フロントに行ったら現金60円で購入ということで購入できずまた部屋に戻った。

This hotel was meant to just be a transit hotel for us and we probably spent less than 12 hours in it as we've arrived late at night. + It's easy to access as long as you come via Shin Fuji station. It's literally a few steps away. The area in itself is not great as there's nothing to do, but you should already know that. There's a 24/7 kombini a few minutes away. + When we arrived there was no staff at the counter so we just checked in using the automatic machine, which was very fast. + The room is.. a room. You get what you pay for. It's cheap, so don't expect too much. It's very small and I don't think opening a suitcase is possible inside. The things that really matter were fine: the beds are comfortable and overall everything was clean, so no complaints there. If you're looking for a clean place to sleep on a budget, this is your place

- Getting the shower temperature to be constant was impossible. I fiddled with the knob for minutes on end without any success. Once I'd get the perfect temperature, it would hold for 1 minute at most and then it would randomly turn to ice cold or lava hot. I don't know if it was just a problem of the system as a whole or the unit in my room had an issue, but taking a shower was certainly an experience. - We had a pretty unpleasant situation with the front desk on the morning we were checking out. Two days earlier, we had forwarded our luggage to the hotel, but it still hadn't arrived by checkout time. Thanks to our AirTags, we could see that it was nearby, so we tried to explain to the staff that it would likely arrive soon. Our plan was to check out, spend the day out, and come back later to collect the bags once they had been delivered. The problem was that the staff member spoke no English at all. We tried using Google Translate, but that didn't help. She then brought out a translation device, but we still couldn't get the message across. I explained the situation several times, using simple language and keeping it as straightforward as possible, but she just didn't seem to understand and mostly looked at me blankly. Eventually, she appeared to give up, went back to whatever she had been doing, and left me standing there without any resolution. Thankfully, at that exact moment, the delivery company arrived with our luggage, and we were able to sort everything out. I'm not trying to be THAT kind of tourist. I understand that not everyone speaks English, and it's unreasonable to expect them to. At the same time, I would have expected a bit more effort to help find a solution instead of simply giving up. I don't know what we would've done if the luggage didn't arrive right then, because the staff seemed to be done with us
