Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites - Marseille Vieux Port

Location. Staffs are very kind and smiley. I bought some groceries and keep them at hotel’s refrigerator.

The outside is a little bit noisy at the midnight. If there are soundproof windows, it is much better. (But not continue long time, so no problems.)

The hotel is in a great location. Bars and restaurants are right outside the front door. Several key attractions within walking distance. Hotel appears to be in a safe area. Bed was comfortable with several pillows to choose from. Large shower, with good water pressure. Sink was large and lighting in bathroom was good.

Room was dark. Window view was of rear of apartment building. Toilet area was ridiculously small. Avoid room 507 if you can. Breakfast had limited items to choose from, based on four hotels I stayed at during this trip. The staff are friendly and spoke English.

Staff professional, understanding. We reduced our stay at city and the hotel in general was understanding. Rooms were spacious, good AC and bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately we were on the first floor while it’s nice for people gazing it was constant noise nonstop day and night but in fairness the city is busy and chaotic. The room has no mini fridge so we couldn’t keep the water we bought cold.

La déco est très sympa, la localisation centrale et le petit déjeuner très bien. Notre chambre donnait sur le vieux port, c'est assez bruyant donc il faut oublier de dormir la fenêtre ouverte. La chambre est cependant assez bien isolée.

- The location is AMAZING, literal steps away from the main subway and bus lines. - So many amazing restaurants, museums, stores, and key points of interest nearby! - The bathroom was such a luxury! Very spacious and equipped with everything you’d need. - Extremely comfortable bed and sheets. - The staff are very polished, friendly, and fluent in English which was helpful for my stay. - Our room was ready before the check-in time which was a pleasant surprise!

- There could be more lighting, it gets a bit dark even with the floor lamp early in the morning and late at night.
