Omni Austin Hotel Downtown

I truly enjoyed many aspects of my stay at the Omni. The check-in process, valet service, front desk staff, and overall quality of the room were all excellent and met my expectations. Unfortunately, I am giving this stay one star due to a serious issue involving housekeeping and missing personal property. Three bracelets were taken from my room. I am not someone who makes accusations lightly, but I am 100% certain the jewelry was present in the room. I wore the bracelets that evening and inadvertently left them behind at checkout. As soon as I arrived home and unpacked, I realized the items were missing and immediately contacted the hotel in hopes of recovering them. I was informed by housekeeping that the jewelry had not been found. However, I do have photographic evidence taken at approximately 3:00 a.m. that night showing my jewelry box clearly visible on the nightstand. Based on guidance from the police, I was advised not to share the image publicly while this matter is still being addressed. While the property itself is beautiful and the service from front-of-house staff was excellent, trust is essential when staying at a hotel of this caliber. If guests cannot feel confident that their belongings are safe in their room, it makes it difficult to consider returning or recommending the hotel to others. I am continuing to pursue the return of my property and sincerely hope this situation can be resolved appropriately.

We had the most wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back again. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Diana, who immediately made us feel welcome and taken care of. She is truly a standout — professional, warm, and clearly someone who takes pride in making guests feel special. She set the tone for an incredible stay right from the start. When we arrived at our room, we were greeted with the sweetest surprise: a plate of cookies and a thoughtful handwritten note from Mark. Those little details meant so much to us and made the experience feel personal and memorable. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I especially love a nice bath when I travel, and this bathroom was absolutely spick and span — clean enough that I could truly relax and enjoy a long, peaceful soak. It’s those details that really matter. We also loved starting our mornings with coffee on the rooftop pool deck — such a relaxing way to take in the city. Throughout the hotel, the cozy seating areas made it easy to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. The food was delicious (the meat and cheese platter was a standout!), and every staff member we encountered was friendly and kind. Even housekeeping surprised us one evening with Christmas Hershey Kisses and a sweet holiday note, which truly made us smile. The overall vibe was the perfect mix of cozy and upscale, and you can feel that this team genuinely cares. We’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and this one really stood out because of the people. Huge thanks to Diana, Mark, and the entire staff — we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Nice and clean. Modern with good facilities, rooms were decent sizes too

The room was in a perfect location and super clean. Valet was quick and front desk was very efficient. And the barkeeper was sweet enough to find me a cookie after everything had closed.

The cost of parking is expensive. And you don't really wanna park on the street

There were many problems with the room. First they charged me double for the stay. Second, the shower did not work and neither did the phone to call down for maintenance. They fixed the shower after night one but it was a huge inconvenience to have to go to a business meeting without a shower. The tv in the room did not function properly.
