GBThe Location was good but everything about this hostel is falsely advertised
Upon arrival at Selina, we were shown to our room, which looked nothing like the pictures advertised. Instead of the garden view we had booked, the room overlooked a busy road and had a dirty nappy left on the wall. The bathroom was also completely different from the one shown in the listing photos. We immediately raised our concerns with reception and were told that we had been placed in the wrong room. We were then moved to the “correct” room, which unfortunately was covered in mould and smelled strongly of damp. The condition of this room is entirely unacceptable and poses potential health risks. Additionally, we specifically chose Selina for its social atmosphere. However, we have now discovered that all dormitories have been closed for the week — something that was not disclosed at the time of booking. Despite staff claiming this was shown online, we have checked Booking.com and can confirm that dorms are still listed as available. Given the false advertising, unsanitary conditions, and lack of transparency, we are requesting a full refund but have been ignored. We could not stay under these circumstances and walked out.

NLIk heb 2 nachten heerlijk geslapen in de 6 persoons kamer. Het ontbijt was ook lekker en goed verzorgd. Je loopt zo het gezellige centrum van Ericeira in. Gratis parkeren is een klein stukje lopen vanaf de supermarkt: Continente.
Het onderhoud van o.a. de badkamer is wat achterstallig. Daarnaast lagen er in de kamer nog veel ‘vergeten’ spullen.

Cama de cima do beliche com cobertura super baixa, não se pode nem ficar sentada na cama sem bater a cabeça; banheiro extremamente sujo e com saída direto na cozinha, sem privacidade. Eu sei que é um hostel, mas já fiquei em outros da rede, no Porto e em Lisboa que são muito bons.
CHPTO staff é muito atencioso, o lugar tem uma decoração linda e acolhedora, um restaurante maravilhoso.
A limpeza das casas de banho, e nunca havia papel era sempre necessário pedir.
