Riad Razane

Beautifully maintained Riad with intricate tiling and detailing. The main area is leafy and open, where you can hear the birds chirp. This area was exceptionally clean. The open roof top allows for a beautiful view over the city and our host was very friendly, pointing out the sites and taking the time to get to know us.

The roof top area is quite tired, with sun damaged/dirty seating. The bathrooms and rooms are very dark (as expected in a riad) but some better lighting would improve this!

Super friendly and welcoming hosts, huge and most beautiful Riad. This was our best stay in Morocco. The rooms are also very big. The rooftop terrace is a great hangout place. Breakfast had everything we could have wanted. Wifi worked really well.

The coffee at breakfast needs to improve, it tastes like water. The way to get to Medina center and back to Riad is a bit dodgy. It’s through the tanneries, so the smell is unbearable every time you go to Medina and back, also the walk through the tanneries in the evenings after dinner is not the most comfortable and safe way. Not at all the riads fault but something to keep in mind. Otherwise everything was great.

We are deeply grateful to Ali, the hotel manager, who was so kind and helpful, assisting us in many difficult situations. The riad is a hidden gem, and its courtyard has a fresh, authentic atmosphere that will captivate you from the first moment.

Kinda difficult to find de location when we arrive for the first time.

The Riad is situated in the old Medina, with all attractions within walking distance. I’ll be honest—when we first arrived and made our way there, I thought, „Oh no, where have we ended up?“ But the moment we opened Riads door and stepped inside, we were stunned—it was absolutely gorgeous! A special shout-out to the host, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His kindness and effort truly made our stay memorable. Our room was spacious, though it got a bit cold at night. However there were a heater. We also loved the early breakfast—such a thoughtful touch!

Great breakfast! Amazing host, Mr. Ali. Mme made us a fab couscous. Great location- safe, easy enough to find if you ask.
