Samsara Villas

This is a really cleverly designed space, providing pool, a covered kitchen and lounge area (with overhead fan) plus a lovely air conditioned bedroom. Loved the decor- so simple and stylish, plus the outdoor shower room off the bedroom. From the website photos I thought there would be loads of villas but there are just 2. Can catch the sun all day around the pool if you move around. The 'sail' covers over the pool were much appreciated. Everything is within walking distance in Gili Air, but we appreciated the bikes provided with the villa - great fun to cycle around this tiny island.

We loved our trip to Gili and Samsara Vila made it even more incredible! Such a special place with attentive staff - the only downside is that we had to leave! The villa was tranquil and luxurious.

This villa is so beautiful the pictures really don't do it justice. It is a huge space with such lovely detail throughout and a gorgeous outdoor bathroom. Shelley and the team made our stay so memorable nothing was too much trouble! It is very close to the beach to see lovely sunsets. The bikes provided are a great way to get around to see the island. A beautiful villa on a beautiful island of paradise.

The villa was very lovingly furnished. The quiet location and the atmosphere of the villa were dreamlike. The staff was very friendly and always available via WhatsApp. The accommodation was a highlight of our trip.

Everything was amazing! Photos doesn’t show how amazing this place is in fact. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation in Gili.

Great accommodation, very private and quiet. Perfect location close to the beach for sunset and 10minute cycle down to the main centre.

We loved Samsara villa! 10 min walk to the beach where our speed boat dropped us off. Free bikes on arrival. To. Explore the island. We we're able to check in early which was a big bonus. Will definitely be staying here again. The pool. Was great and outside space perfect, nice a private on the north West Side of the island.

Everything- hard to fault. We just left our little paradise at Samsara Villas on Gili Air after 6 wonderful nights 😢 It was very hard to leave. The villa is situated in a perfect spot, just a couple of minutes (not even) walk to the beach where there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and perfect sunset views. The villa itself comes equipped with all that you need: bicycles to get around the island, full kitchen amenities, full bathroom amenities (great shampoo & conditioner - and thanks for the toothbrush!!), drinking water, a full sized fridge and freezer with mini bar if you choose to purchase drinks at hand, a comfy big bed, and day bed by the pool which gets the afternoon sun. The service was brilliant… thank you Mezi (and sorry, I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name) for your smiles and assistance. Our villa was tidied each morning when we left for our adventures, and a very sweet ‘turndown’ service as when we arrived home each night, the mosquito coil had been lit and the night lights to the villa on. We opted for a floating breakfast one morning which was the best breakfast we had on the island during our stay - absolutely huge, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented by Shelley. Thank you Shelley and staff for making our first trip to Gili Air such a gorgeous experience… I doubt it will be long before we are back!

We absolutely loved Samsara villas. If you are staying on Gili Air I highly recommend staying here. The villa is absolutely beautiful, clean, huge plunge pool, well equipped with fans and air conditioning, comfortable bed, small kitchen if you like cooking or preparing your own food. The villa is super private too. The hosts even provide you with lovely yellow bikes to use during your stay which is so handy as it is the best way to get around the island and saves the hassle of renting push bikes. The villa is about a 3 minute walk from the beach where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets with a cold coconut or a crisp Bintang. Moreover, the hosts will put you in a whats app group so you can ask them any questions during your stay. They are super helpful telling you where the best snorkel spots are and if you want to do any day trips they will make sure you are well equipped with all the information you need!
