Hostal Mario's Rooms

Un lugar muy tranquilo para descansar y muy céntrico, se puede ir a cualquier lado a pie.

Bastante limpio y bien ubicado.

La tranquilidad, limpieza y ubicación. Además del jardín que es muy bonito.

The setting is right in the heart of the main street of Panajachel, the busiest town on Lake Atitlan. But once you enter Mario's Rooms hostel, you are in a protected, quiet, stone floored corridor, that takes you to an unassuming reception desk, all lined with lovely flowering plants, pictures, furniture, just lovely. For this price range, the quality of the environment FAR exceeded my expectations. My room was towards the back, had it's own curtained windows, a private bath, a comfortable bed, and everything was spotless and fresh and neat. The solid wooden door to my room had a perfectly working lockset, not always the case in hostel/hotels, lol. For $20 a night, Mario's is a gem!

The property is in a great spot in Pana, close to the main restaurants and bars. There’s a really good laundry place around the corner. The courtyard is very beautiful with plants and a garden. The staff were very friendly.

You need to pay for your room with cash - however there is a very convenient ATM just across the street.
