Podere Spedalone

- Location was amazing : close to Pienza and other very beautiful villages. The surroundings are stunning and the views from the farm as well. - The place itself is beautiful and the bedroom was spotless clean. - The breakfast was really amazing ! Fresh and local produce everyday, everything was delicious. - There are lots of animals (puppies when we went!) which was great.

- We had very little contact with the staff. When we arrived, they immediately asked us to pay 300 euros for a deposit (we were not aware of it before). It was given back at the end. - Every activity they offer is very expensive. For example, they offer horse riding with prices that start at 100 euros only for "meeting the horses" (not actually riding). You can find similar activities for much cheaper around. - It felt like everything was about money and trying to sell more stuff, not actually having a passion for what they do. - Finally, the place is owned by an American (who doesn't live on site) and it really shows. We didn't know in advance and would have preferred to go to an Italian owned place.

Didn’t get any info on the farm or the oil at all. I had to book an oil tour elsewhere. What’s the point of it being agritourismo?

Fanns inget jag inte gillade men beroende på från vilket håll man kommer ifrån när man kör så är det en ganska lång väg av grus till boendet. Det kan vara bra att veta.

De prachtige ligging. We aten bij het restaurant en namen het aperitief in de tuin en genoten van een prachtige zonsondergang met fenomenaal uitzicht. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. In het restaurant zijn er geen tafeltjes van twee. We zaten aan 1 lange tafel met een andere familie. Ons stoorde dat niet. Bij het ontbijt was het ook zo.

Er hing een rioolgeur in de badkamer. De badkamer was nogal klein.

Fazenda muito bonita, bem decorada, boa comunicação especialmente antes da chegada pra explicar tudo. Quarto confortável.

Achei muito americanizado, pouco da cultura local, o que perde um pouco o charme do agriturismo. Comparado ao outro agriturismo que fiquei na mesma viagem esse foi bem mais caro e o quarto era menor e mais simples.
