My favorite lodging facility when I come from Texas to visit family and friends in upstate SC.4 or 5 visits over last 5 years.Clean,comfortable,Secure, friendly and helpful staff.

Room was excellent nice and clean and the front desk was awesome.

Hotel had 2 elevators. When I arriveed one was already out of service. A few hours later second one broke. The room I was in was on second floor so not a big inconvenience. The issues were the common area in the lobby was overcrowded because people on upper levels couldn't get to their rooms. Second my room was close the stairs every single time someone used the stairs there was a loud bang from the door slamming. This was every few minutes making impossible to sleep. Even if it wasnt the door on my floor you could hear the door on the first floor make same banging sound. There was already an issue they knew about having one elevator side by side with the other. Second one giving out sent everyone to the stairs listened to it all night. The room itself was clean but worn. Couch ripped, nothing in bathroom again clean but would have expected more than just towels. Person as desk was helpful when checked in but was definitely overwhelmed once elevator broke. They should have been upfront they were experiencing issues and let people make decision to go elsewhere. Instead room booked nothing returned and certainly died not get what paid for.
