Hôtel Le Bristol Strasbourg Gare

Location good near TGV station. Walkable to all sites in and around central Strasbourg. Staff friendly.

We had refurbished rooms. They were big and comfortable, with a super ensuite and nice and quiet. The staff were efficient and friendly. I would really recommend this hotel particularly as it is so well situated opposite the station.

We paid for an upgrade to a bigger room - the room was spacious and newly decorated. It had a lovely balcony and was bright. The bed was really comfortable and generously sized. The bathroom was large and shower was excellent. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The front of the hotel is really disappointing and neglected looking which belies the lovely rooms inside. The reception and lifts could do with an upgrade. Tea making facilities or a small fridge would be an advantage.

The room was nice, recently renovated, and very comfortable. However, putting a kettle or a coffee machine in it would go a long way (even without a fridge). The hotel is very conveniently located just opposite Gare Central, and just 5 minutes walk from the town centre.

Though I understand the need to renovate the remaining rooms/floors, the works on the 1st floor started at 8 am with the accompanying noise, and I did not appreciate this since my room was on the 2nd floor. Some of us work late at night and would cherish the opportunity to sleep in in the morning.

The room was spacious and very nicely refurbished Excellent location with easy access to the railway station and a short walk to the old city. Good breakfast buffet.

1) The duvet was too warm for us 2) A kettle in the room would have been nice, it is almost impossible to buy a nice cup of tea in Europe.
