Old Taos Guesthouse B&B

This place has such an "old Taos" ambience! We have stayed here before and this time we brought our dog. They made him feel very welcome! The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. We were there in chilly weather and we enjoyed sitting by the kiva in our room enjoying the gas fire as we read in two comfortable armchairs with the dog at our feet. The breakfasts are substantial and delicious, the staff is lovely, and we will certainly stay there again when we come to Taos.

I have slept on the ground before so when I say the twin beds were awful and I would have rather slept on the floor is the truth. My friend is 5'8 and her feet stuck over the end of the bed. The springs dug into her back and she woke up in pain and I woke up hearing her cry. The room was 66 and there was no way to turn up the heat as it was in the 40s outside. I text the host and did not get an anwer for several hours and by then my friend found the thermostat controls hidden behind the television set. The room reminded me on ones I had stayed at in the 60s. Food seemed to be pretty much bland and probably bought at a GFS or whatever restaurant supply is in the area. I head the microwave being used so not the fresh breakfast as reported. Coffee too was blah and probably something bought at a grocery store chain. For the amount of money spent, we both felt it is well over rated.

Great stay at super cute B&B just 6 min from town. Breakfast was amazing with granola, yogurt, fruit and savory main - breakfast burrito one day and breakfast tamale the next. We would definitely come back to this spot.

This is the best place (of hotels or bnbs) we've stayed in Taos over the past 50 years. We are New Mexicans and it has a ambiance of true NM and Taos charm. We liked the Pinon casita very much. The breakfasts are delightful and the room in which they are served is charming and preserves your privacy (no big tables where guests have 'forced' intimacy)...
