Courtyard Santa Fe

Nice place. Looks like it has been updated recently.

I just stayed one night. My only issue was that the front desk clerk could not find my Convoy membership number which I was able to locate on the website and give to him.

The first day, it seemed it was the place to go. Snacks, water, and coffee are ready. The courtyard looked nice with included fireplaces.

I was charged 3 times for the room by someone in training who could have used more help from her coworker. The coworker just kept ignoring her. Thus there was a training issue with one of the co-workers, the fridge froze my food and it went to waste, (frozen fruit and veggies) and when I let staff know (after watching them on the phone while a large line formed), they talked to me in a condescending way and stated I just needed to adjust the level (it was broken). I was told the general manager would be in the following day (Sunday) then I was told on Sunday they would not be in until after the holiday. There was no coffee, water or pastries on Sunday at all. I used to think Marriott was a better place to stay. I see now that I was very mistaken. I understand things happen. However, I did leave messages for the general manager, and I still have not received any kind of communication, and the charges are still on my credit card. I would say this was one of the worst experiences at a hotel I have had.

Our room was clean and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the atmosphere and beauty of its courtyard area. Nice place!

The room was a king room. Nice space. Was not small. Which is why I really liked the room. Easy to get in and out of and parking was good. So we were s le to take our luggage out and get it to our room easily

There was no ice in the ice machine near our room. I had to go around to a different area to find one that had ice in it. But it wasn’t too terribly far. They did havee more than one ice ms vine which I appreciated

I canceled two rooms with this Courtyard location—one on August 18th and the other on August 24th. The reservation terms clearly stated that cancellations made by August 27th at 11:59 PM would not incur charges. Despite this, the hotel charged me for the stay on August 29th. I called the hotel immediately and was given the runaround. When I contacted Marriott, I was told the issue had to be resolved directly with the hotel. On Monday, I finally spoke with the manager, Andre. At first, he claimed it was Marriott’s fault because they supposedly did not receive the cancellation information. He then changed his explanation, saying I was being charged due to a “special rate”—which is untrue, as I canceled the other room with the same rate on August 18th without issue. The attached screenshots clearly show the cancellation policy, allowing cancellations up to August 27th at 11:59 PM. Andre has provided inconsistent and misleading information, and I find his handling of this matter unacceptable. I had to escalate the issue to Marriott Corporate because I could not get a fair or honest resolution at the hotel level. If traveling to Santa Fe again, I would strongly consider staying elsewhere due to this experience.

First room dark and so moldy my eyes watered. Front desk bored irritated and uncaring- not a drop of hospitality. Went to get another room and was told they’re all the same- this one dingy but more light and far less mold. No clock. Yup. No clock. Do not recommend.
