The beds (mattress) were a little uncomfortable. Other than that, there are no other issues.

"Comfortable stay for all of us"

Comfortable, cosy heater, spacious, 3 toilets and 2 bathroom, homely and nice location

A few things need to be fixed or replaced, bottom left burner on the stovetop doesn’t work properly, one non working light bulb above the dining table, two very well used / scratched fry pans can be upgraded…

It was really clean, very comfortable and had lots of books and games to keep our little ones busy. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Location was excellent, very near to town and shops.

There were exposed light bulbs along the stairs which our little one burnt her finger as she went to explore. We didn’t realized it was an exposed hot bulb.

"Quiet and warm"

Quiet, warm, and comfortable. The internal access garage was great - a very tight squeeze for our large van, but so nice to not have to go out into the cold when unpacking/packing etc. Our first night there was minus 4 degrees, but the house had good heating so we were warm.

The kids' room was kind of a mezzanine over the lounge with shutters opening into the lounge area. The shutters didn't block noise so we had to be quiet once the kids were in bed. There were a few small maintenance things - the shower head wouldn't stay in position, the can opener was broken - which made me suspect the owners hadn't visited the property themselves for a while. It's a bit more than a hop, skip and a jump to the lake! The lake is down the end of the road; a couple of blocks away then across a busy road. It's about 5 minutes stroll.
