Sapphire HOTEL HUE

Great central location with everything you need (good scooter rental, laundry, restaurants) nearby. Very friendly staff with good English and great value overall. The staff let me check into the room early which was very much appreciated.

The breakfast itself was fine but it would be much nicer if the food was prepared separately in a kitchen instead of a smaller booth within the dining area. This would give a nicer atmosphere to the dining area. If the breakfast were improved I'd be much more likely to stay again in the future.

I understand that things happen and there are extenuating circumstances, but this felt like a bait and switch, book me into a nicer hotel, then not have rooms in that hotel and place me in a worse one for same price. I can’t speak to the Sapphire Hotel itself, as I never saw a room, but can speak to my experience. When I arrived, after dark after traveling for the day, I was told I’d be staying across the way at her ‘mother’s house’ (eventually realized she meant hotel). I was open minded and went to look. Room was not the quality I thought I had booked, but looked quickly at expedia/hotels.com/hostelworld and were no other real options. Didn’t seem like air conditioner was working, so I sent a whatsapp message. When I went downstairs someone was there to show me that the breaker had to be turned on. Satisfied it would be fine, I went out to dinner. When she responded to the whatsapp I told her it was figured out. After I got back to room, I learned the a/c only worked for a few minutes, then needed to be manually reset. Not long enough to cool down the room, and didn’t want to open windows to let even more bugs in than were already flying around. When I mentioned this morning about the a/c not working, she said I told her on whatsapp it was fine. The Rice Hotel they put me in was not even listed on Expedia or Hotels.com, which spoke to the quality to me. The Rice room has dirty sheets when I pulled back the top sheet, so switched to other bed, also dirty.

Probably the best room I've stayed in whilst in Vietnam. Mun on reception was amazingly helpful.

The walls give hardly any soundproofing.

Great location near restaurants and bars and plenty of tourist attractions. Friendly, accomodating staff. Clean room with plenty of facilities. Hot shower.

Hotel name is Sofia. No sapphire Hotel but nail spa is sapphire. Hotel in small street. Staff was good when on reception. But after noon they were missing most of the time. Some will call them and then you can talk to them. Room was clean. Breakfast was egg toast coffee.

Nothing in particular.. the receptionist tried to help with my stay but what she really wanted was to sell tours.

My room was without clean bedsheets. Plenty of hair from other people. When questioned to replace the bedsheets that was not possible and another room was assigned. The new room had a really strong smell of mold. And because it is on the ground floor you could hear every single thing from the entrance. AVOID this hotel.

Perfecta la predisposición del personal. Todo fue súper bien. Muy recomendable. Si algo negativo queréis escuchar es que simplemte se encuentra Situado en callejón algo difícil de encontrar.
