The breakfast was great with a good selection of pastries, fruit and yogurt. The location was easy to find and close to shops and restaurants in the old town. Someone met us with the keys, gave us suggestions as to what to do in town and explained everything thoroughly.

Everything. Beautiful home, large, private garden, refridgerator well supplied, lots of space, clean, well decorated, well located, exceedingly quiet, safe, secure. Easy to enter and exit, close to funicular and downtown area and shops

Nothing really. All was beyond expectations. There was more food and beverages than anticipated.

Great location in the upper town with every thing that you could possibly need for a stay in Bergamo. We were a group of six friends, who managed quite comfortably. We arrived very early but were met and then shown where to leave our bags until we could check in. The apartment is within an historic building with 16th century frescoes in the entrance courtyard. Once inside, Angela had provided eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, bread, croissants, cake, biscuits, milk, fruit juice, several large bottles of water and a bottle of sparkling wine. There was also a choice of teas and coffees. Breakfast was certainly catered for. Both bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries, and there were more than sufficient towels and extra blankets if required, but the heating was very efficient.

There is nothing at all wrong with the apartment. It was wonderful.

Maristella was amazing! She offered to help navigate the other parking garage (the one they normally use was all booked for a wedding). She went above and beyond. The fridge was stocked with eggs, meats, cheese, waters, and even champagne! There was lots of coffee, tea, and croissants. The private backyard was amazing. Wish we had more time to spend in it. The biggest bonus was the dryer! We had a ton of laundry and didn’t expect to get any of it done but we got most of it finished because of the dryer.

The location was great, right in the old city but the hill to walk to everything is huge. Wouldn’t have been so bad if we didn’t have a baby stroller to push up it! The steps inside down to the bedrooms are tight and steep so might be harder for some people.

This house is gorgeous, it's spacious,very well equipped and in an ideal location. It's quiet, has a private outdoor area and provides tea,coffee,juice, cold meat and fruit as well as a welcoming bottle of champagne. We were met at the house by a lovely friendly lady who gave restaurant recommendations, explained the local area and answered any queries. We couldn't rate this property highly enough. It was an absolute joy.

So much to say! We were delighted with the central location of the property - just a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and bars of Citta Alta, but at the same time utterly quiet and relaxing. We were met at the property, given a full tour and lots of information about the area and places to visit. We really appreciated help with our baggage and all of the personal touches. The owners left wine and very generous amounts of food, water and fruit and the kitchen is well stocked with all the usual equipment and lots of coffee making paraphernalia. There are two good sized bedrooms downstairs, which both lead directly into the large private garden with a number of seating areas. It was a little cool for us, but a lovely space nonetheless. There is a smaller balcony leading from the lounge/kitchen. The house is comfortable and I have to particularly mention the wonderful shower upstairs. There were loads of towels, slippers, bathrobes, so don't bother taking those if you are planning a visit. The wifi worked well and there is a large tv upstairs if your Italian is good enough. If you are travelling with a family you will definitely appreciate the modern washing machine and dryer next to one of the bedrooms. The owner was good enough to let us leave our luggage in the property on our last day, which was greatly appreciated. Few words of advice - don't get a taxi from the airport if you can avoid it - bus no 1 will drop you right at the bottom of the road - it takes less than 30 minutes and is very inexpensive. Do use the Funicular - the views are wonderful, but be aware of massive queues to go upwards at busy times. Do go to the Irish bar - it's a great place to meet other travellers and the food is local, quick, served until late and very good - as well as the traditional Italian bars and restaurants. We are planning a return visit with a longer stay in the Lakes and Milan.

We had a wonderful time, but after most of a lifetime of sleeping under duvets, the sheets and blankets took a little getting used to! However, obviously very high quality furniture and bedding, so I slept like a log.
