The location and scenery

The room wasnt very clean. Found gummy bears on the floor, and hair in the bathtub.

Everything was forced to pay 100 more dollars.to get a room with a bathroom after they failed to inform us of the dry cabin before or cancelation dates

We loved the location and staff was very kind and friendly.

The floor and corners of our room were very dirty with dead and live bugs everywhere.

The staff at the front office was pleasant. The pool looked nice although I didn't use it. The community bathroom looked decent although I didn't use that either.

The room that we stayed in had not been cleaned in weeks despite the tip card that said Tiana had been cleaning it regularly. Her card was yellowed and wrinkled appearing it had gotten wet and had been there for (at least) weeks. There were dead spiders and bugs in the corner behind the bathroom door, there were spiders, dust, and lint under the table, under the bed, around the wall fixtures, etc. It was pretty gross. Showering kinda freaked me out. I would say it wasn't worth the cost of the room.

The area and the place itself are very nice. The cottages are nice and comfy and clean the only thing that I would suggest to try and get better It's definitely the beds. They are super soft once you lay in them you sink into the middle, making it very uncomfortable to rest. The other thing is, I know it's out in the woods but i don't know where they were coming from but there was a ton of these little black beetles inside that I killed, I must have killed about 20 in the duration of 5 days, they were everywhere, bathroom and all over the bed, and less, but not least I don't know if the walls are a little too thin but I could totally hear the conversation of the people Next To Me. The cottage building itself, it's split into 3. There is a middle area and 2 adjacent ones. They have interconnecting doors, I guess, if bigger families, rent 2 and can connect between each other Otherwise you can block those, but you could totally hear anything. The other people were saying. So I guess keep that in mind if you have a loud family or larger party, your neighbor's may complain about noise.

Quiet and secluded, easy to get to. Friendly staff. Stayed in a Deer view cabin.

Cosmetic issues that could use some attention.

The view and location were amazing

The room we reserved was falsely advertised on booking.com. on the website it claimed that the room had a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Unfortunately it had neither. When I spoke to the lady at the counter she said that she had messaged me and told me that the room didn't have a bathroom or shower. I told her that she messaged me after I had paid already and that it didn't make sense. Then she told me that "booking.com's template" didn't allow her to advertise the room correctly. If booking.com supposedly kept them from advertising the room correctly then it shouldn't be on booking.com. they had no remorse for the inconvenience they had caused and didn't even offer a different room. This made our stay very stressful. We should've been refunded for the first night. We were able to switch rooms the next day. But the first night should've been refunded.
