The Bent Elbow

Pre-stay communication and access was excellent. Only improvement is internet was very slow; impossible to stream or watch T.V.

The room was specious and clean. I am 82, so the steps at 9,000 feet were hard for us. But, the owner was responsive to my needs and the Bent Elbow restaurant and bar was great. Couldn’t hear noise from downstairs or other room. Very cute.

The location was good but the room was tiny. There was only space for one suitcase and no chair.

Great place in Silverton! A six room hotel above a Mexican Restaurant made for a perfect stay! Clean and modern room. Very nice!

Couldn’t review… didn’t stay☹️ My friend had a death in the family the day before we were to meet and they wouldn’t refund our room☹️

Unable to control temp in room, and trash not emptied all week or towels changed

The bed was super comfortable and soft.

I don't like the scent of the sheets and towels. I try to find non scented locations but that's difficult.

Neat town. hasn't caught up with the times which is its charm. a throwback to earlier decades.

This is self checking, there is no front desk. You get informed via text the morning of your stay what room and the door code. That's the singular issue driving my rating. Nick, (the front desk/owner/mgr/etc)) never provided code and didn't answer several calls requesting same. I had to involve Booking support staff to get Nick to do his job and get me a code. eventually that was provided. when we arrived, we also saw a cipher lock on the door leading to the upstairs rooms but no signage when operable. Called Nick and asked for info but he never had the courtesy to reply . This is the last place I'd recommend you stay, all because of Nick and his lack of support for his guests.

Huge rooms in a historic building, nicely furnished, quiet and comfortable. only issues were carrying luggage up 19 steps and no heat. Still probably the best you will find in Silverton
