Beautiful character home. Wonderful greeting made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was great. So many options

Elm Grove is quiet and surrounded by countryside. The hotel has a tennis court and Croquet on the lawn. We had a lovely meal on our first evening, but they don't serve meals every night. Our room was large and comfortable and a dressing room was a bonus. Highly recommended.

All the staff including the owners were exceptionally friendly and very helpful.

The hotel was very grand looking, including the inside of the hotel. Although I was in a single room, it was on the small side and the bathroom exceptionally small. The dining room, although very grand lacked any atmosphere and walking into breakfast was like walking into a doctor’s surgery. The addition of some music in the background would make all the difference. The dining room only serves meals on certain days. You need to book the restaurant on the morning of the day you wish to eat. If you don’t you can’t come later for a meal. If you don’t book the restaurant and need to eat there is a pub in the village. On the day I stayed I didn’t book the restaurant thought I would try the pub and found the pub was not serving food so no dinner that night.
