The location is all that saved this dump.

The property presented on Booking.com with a 9.0 rating from 251 reviews and the headline ‘superb’. I booked it for this reason. After accepting my booking and payment. I went to share the property with friends only to find that it was rated 5 with only 2 reviews. and they were scathing too. I did save a screen shot showing the property with its 9.0 rating which I’m in discussions with Bookin.con about.

"Large apartment in Lisbon"

Easy check in, owner was very kind. Good location. Large apartment with plenty of light. You can cook and eat in the kitchen and large dining room. The Wi-Fi worked well.

Very noisy at night at the weekend and early morning on weekdays. Windows do not shield noise (old). Not very clean at check-in. It needs works (two door handles missing, staircase is dirty and very old, furniture is tired), staircase light not working on the floor. Noise from upstairs apartment the first night. We were 4, and only three beds were made, we had to make one (bedding was not intuitive). Little apartment instructions. There is no elevator (third floor) and the staircase is narrow. In short, it needs renovation to be comfortable, unless you are out to party all night.
