La Ferme aux Chats

We checked in after 7:30pm, the host Celine received us in a rush. Exhausted from a full day road trip and Omaha/D-Day guided tour, first thing we wanted to do was take a hot shower; only to be disgusted of the molds on the shower walls and floor (Pics attached). Then, the wall heaters in the bedroom & bathroom won’t turn on (note that it’s a simple on/off switch, pretty sure not operator issue). By then, we contemplated to check out. However, considered we’ll be out of the property in 12 hours. We checked out at 9:30 am. We walked around the property while our belongings were left in the dining room. After walking around/taking pics, we walked back to the dining room entrance, our belongings were already out at the front door. The host Celine hauled them out. We thought that was very nice. At that time, I didn’t notice that the white shopping bag with our road trip essentials (a bottle of water, nuts& berries, a box of French macaroons, and a half bottle of champagne) was missing. We loaded the car and explored the town for about an hour. We returned to the property, Celine sent us off. We drove to Utah Beach and Mont Saint Michel after. About an hour into our drive back to Paris around 6pm, we realized the white plastic bag was missing. I sent a message to Celine. She said she found the bag, no champagne. First off, she hauled our bags out from the dining room. How can she possibly leave the white bag? It’s not about the value of what’s in the bag, It’s all about honesty

Property is gorgeous, host were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Morning breakfast was amazing! It was a 10 star property. Highly recommend and near D-Day attractions. Stay here!

The owner of this hotel is fantastic,the breakfast Soo Soo good.the service here is unbelievable good. Thank you so much fore your hospitality. We are definitely coming back.

Celine and Jerome were wonderful hosts!! They presented a beautiful breakfast everyday! The room was spotless!! The shower was wonderful! They helped to direct us to the D-Day sites! We enjoyed our breakfast with the other travelers staying there!! A great opportunity to meet others and share experiences!!

Céline et Jérôme sont des hôtes merveilleux : accueil chaleureux, conseils avisés tout au long du séjour, petit déjeuner super varié et délicieux, propreté des chambres. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente à l'aise.On sent qu'ils adorent ce qu'ils font .. Toutes les nationalités se mélangent et cette "Tour de Babel" est une expérience très enrichissante. La ferme est très proche(( 4 ou 5 kms ) du cimetière américain de Colleville, proche également d'Isigny, Bayeux, Arromanches ....ce qui permet de rayonner sans trop avoir à faire de kms . A RECOMMANDER SANS AUCUNE HESITATION

This is a lovely family run B&B. Celine & Jerome are very welcoming and share their knowledge of the local area and DDay sights. It is very close to Omaha Beach and other historical sights. Our room was very comfy and breakfast was delicious. We stopped off on the way home to Honfleur which was recommended by Celine and it was well worth it, it’s a beautiful historical City with a harbour surrounded by townhouses built 16-18th century.

Excelent location for D day. Owners were superb.

Great little cottage close to where we needed to be. ( Omaha Beach) Quiet place very scenic, green trees surrounded area. Owners helped everyone at breakfast with the things to do in the area. Breakfast was great really enjoyed it but we only got to go one time unfortunately. We had berries picked from their very own berry tree, they had adorable animals around to say hi to. I would recommend this place.
