We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious. There is a large shower. The outdoor courtyard gives a welcome space outdoors. There was an amazing cooked to order hot breakfast included. Which gave real value to the booking. It is convenient to walk into the historic city. There is good parking accommodation. Staff are very attentive to your needs and welcoming.

The hotel is a beautiful converted mansion just outside Perugia, perfectly located to visit the town and also for easy access to the airport and other locations. The welcome we got was very warm; the hosts were enthusiastic and even though a wedding was on, they were keen to show us a room Pope John Paul 2 had slept in. Our beds were comfortable and the showers very good. The views from the hotel and grounds across the valley were breathtaking. Breakfast was available early for us due to an early flight, and it was an excellent continental breakfast. All of us enjoyed our brief stay and we feel we would like to return and stay again in the future. In my opinion it is a characterful hotel - it must have been a very grand residence at one time and is now a practical building. For some it may be too basic and lacking luxurious touches, but it was clean and comfortable, and the staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome.

Nothing. I can't fault it. If I was being really fussy it would have been nice to have slightly larger shower cubicles. That was a minor point and did not detract from our opinion.
