The place was small and cozy, just enough for 3 siblings to have the trip of a lifetime. We had all the necessary amenities required. I was met at the door by the apartment owner who was happy to hand me two sets of keys. I needed a ride back to the airport when I arrived and she sorted me out with that too. The place has a really comfortable double bed and a not-so-comfortable mattress on a raised floor. We had a big toilet and shower with toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, a towel each and towel rack provided. The hot water was lukewarm at best but I think it depended on the weather. The room had a little kitchenette with a small fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and small cooker. We had a frying pan, plates, forks, spoons and knives provided. Sugar, tea and coffee could be found on a box on top of the fridge-freezer. We had lots of plugs 🔌 provided but they were mainly Barbadian style with matching appliances. There was one UK style plug during which I used my multiplug I brought from home. There were also 2 USB ports on the wall, which worked very nicely. There was a mirror in the room and a mirror in the toilet. The lighting was a bit dark. There was a smart TV. And, air conditioner was wonderful. We rented a car and parking was very easy outside the property. There’s a clothing line in the garage so if you wanna hang your wet swimming clothes, you’re probably welcome to use. The place was only 10 minutes by car to the airport but the taxi ride was BBD52 or $US26. The taxis take cash so make sure you have change. If you don’t drive, there is a bus stop nearby where you can catch a bus. Up the road, they sell fresh coconuts where they cut the coconuts for you. However, remember to try and bring a straw! Each coconut has almost what feels like 500mls of refreshing coconut water. They then cut up the coconut so you can have the cocnut jelly inside.

The neighbours had 2 barking dogs that would bark early in the morning and at night as well so it’s not ideal if you get easily disturbed. There’s a steep hill to go up from the road to the door so if you have bad knees, it’s not a good idea unless you get a car with someone else driving or taxi up the hill to the door. The WiFi was a bit weak at times despite the signal strengthener in the room plugged in behind the microwave.

The location is close to airport.Host is a great lady who arrange us to leave our bags before staying in property and also allow us to check out late . good value of money , good public transport to anywhere,comfi bed with massive bathroom and kitchenette with all necessary items and free tea/ coffee ,biscuits and water .

30min walk from beach. Public transport available but difficult. Kitchen facilities only allow for simple microwave meals.
