The Farmhouse Lochmeyler

My ferry was cancelled and found this place last minute and what a gem. I didn't get the host's name but she was absolutely lovely, the breakfast was amazing, the room was spotless and I have no complaints at all. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat

Uns hat alles im Farmhouse gefallen, angefangen bei Morfydd, unserer Vermieterin. Sie ist einfach zauberhaft, liebevoll, umsorgend, hilfsbereit. Besser geht es nicht. Das Zimmer ist groß und geräumig. Die Betten sehr bequem, die Ausstattung prima. Zum Empfang gab es englischen Kuchen, Kaffee, Wasser und so. Wir konnten uns selbst bedienen. Und wir durften sogar in Morfydds Küche uns am Abend aufhalten und dort zu Abend essen. Zum Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl. Sehr lecker alles. Wir waren 17 Tage und Nächte im Farmhouse und würden jederzeit wieder uns dort einquartieren.

Fantastic traditional Bed and Breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms. Home made sweets and small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. Mrs. Jones was extremely kind and attentive hostess. The traditional welsh breakfast (the fullest!) was unforgettable. Would love to come again!

This was our fourth visit and, as always, we were looked after extremely well. Nothing is too much trouble for Mrs. Jones, who goes out of her way to ensure that your stay is first class. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast very enjoyable. We always really appreciate the extra touches like fresh milk, plenty of tea and coffee and delicious home baked cakes.

A very hospitable host has gone above and beyond to make her guests have everything they could need. As well as all the usual comforts you might expect from a BnB there is terry towelling robes, a heated towel rail, your own fridge, own tv, home-made treats on arrival and books about the local area. The breakfast is HUGE: juice, tea/coffee, cereal, yoghurt, pancake, fruit, toast AND a Welsh cooked breakfast. (You can also ask for porridge.) No need for lunch!

Narrow roads to get to the farm, but then where can you go in the UK and not have to hold your breath as you drive around a blind corner?

Excellent, had all you could need for a nights stay. A little out of the way but that was known before booking. Great host, loverly breakfast and treats left. Would definitely recommend

I've stayed a few times when visited relatives. Lovely place, best of welcome and really homely.Couldn't wish for better

Everything. This is the sort of place that helps you unwind due to its location and that amazing woman who took care of our every need.

Everything exceeded my expectations - the owner was wonderful and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable, clean and equipped with everything one might need. A special touch were the homemade treats in the fridge! The breakfast was an excellent selection of everything one could wish for - beautifully presented and served. The farmhouse was on a quiet road next to a working farm so it was fun to see the cows being herded into the field opposite.
