This Is It Airport Hotel and Restaurant

If you are looking for somewhere to stay near Colombo Airport, look no further. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough to help. They let us check out late so that we could get some extra sleep before our late flight, and helped us print off visa documents for our next destination. The food at the restaurant was great, the pizza looked and smelled amazing even if we didn't get a chance to try it. Great selection of drinks available and all for really reasonable prices. The room was spotless, comfortable, air conditioned and had a kettle for one last cup of Ceylon tea! The location for the airport was excellent, not so close that the planes disturbed you but close enough that a tuk tuk to departures was only 550 LKR. We didn't explore the local area because we didn't need to, everything we needed was right there at the hotel.

Nothing at all!

Started and of course ended my trip in Sri Lanka here. The only bad thing was that my expectations for the other hotels/hostels/home stays got to high. My best nights were at this hotel. Breakfast is the best, the owner is originally from the UK. Free water, good prices in the restaurant and great food and assortment. Since a traveled by myself I got great help planning the start of my trip in Sri Lanka as well.

空港までの送迎をお願いしていたが、来なかった。到着が遅くなることは伝えていたのに、ホテルに到着したとき、ホテルは真っ暗で鍵がかかっていた。タクシードライバーに電話をかけてもらい、なんとか泊まれることができたが、なぜそうなったのか解明せず・・・。早朝チェックアウトをしました。宿自体は、そんなに悪くない感じだが、不安だらけの宿泊となりました。

WiFi acceptable Multitasking one gent had a good moral character

Worst room 8.5ft x 12ft the entire space Worst staff and pathetic owners confront and accused guests of non payment and fleeing. No TV, no refrigerator, no microwave, no hairdryer, no trash bin, leaking ac, loud leaking water heater, bright multi color walls in room, can hear conversation from two rooms away, dark color bed linen and towels, two towels had holes, pillows smells of rotten drooling. Cameras watching guests rooms instead of intruders. Narrow non-standard stairs and no elevator. Bright light shining on window at night. No terrace or balcony..just a hallway vestibule are they call terrace. No room service to clean, change towels or clean. No telephone in rooms to call service. Half used toilet roll provided for the entire stay. Dirt was on the floor and wash room. Door was a aluminum shop door with a orange painted over on glass. Bugs crawling on floor. Paper-thin bedspread and covers. Chinese man owned and operated. He's married to a Sri Lankan woman who is very nasty to guests. Provided bill with wrong additions to cheat guests.

Nothing, it's not even in a convenient location. It's far from all spots.

Came in late at night in the rain, called many times to get them to open up. However from the side of the road someone opened up and first thing you realize is the smell. It looked weird as well. Upon asking if it was the correct place he kept saying its all the same and belonged to one owner. Then he took us to this room and told us that this is what was booked. (It looked nothing like what we booked) It was a torn down room that wasn't suitable for anyone. We left there right after leaving us to find another location in the middle of the night. It was more of a nightmare

Decent stay for s short layover between flights. The host was friendly

Great location in relation to the airport. It's about a 15 mins Uber/PickMe/tuktuk ride away and costs between 650-950 rupees. The host is very friendly and helpful. He kindly provided us with change for bigger bills when we arrived and arranged our ride to the airport for us when we couldn't get one ourselves. The room and bathroom are a good size and both are clean. The shower is hot and the WiFi works perfectly.
