"I'll stay again . . . . "

6.0

. . . but, will negotiate a better price. Cost for a night is "a secret" untill you check in. I was shocked at what I was charged at check in - especially since the the quoted price on the shady " book a room cheap" web sites are less than half what I paid. Otherwise this property exceeded all other expectations. We really liked it and we're treated very well.

"Surprisingly Nice"

6.0

We booked this place prior to our trip to Arkansas. When we pulled up a looked a little scary. Surprisingly the rooms we spacious and nice, but they advertise breakfast, but then the sign when we checked in said they didn’t serve breakfast any longer. It also said the pool was closed as well. They should let you know this when you book. Either way, for a quick overnight stay while traveling it sufficed, but wouldn’t spend more time than that.

"Unpleasant"

2.0

This motel is not worth the expensive price that is charged. Was very hard to heat room. The pillows on bed we're very uncomfortable. They do not serve a breakfast as was advertised. Very unclean room and bathtub had mold under handle and under bath faucet. Will never stay there again.

"Misleading"

Worn out furniture and bedding. NO BREAKFAST of any kind even though advertised with hot breakfast included. There is no operating pool system even with it being an indoor pool. Room was clean along with sheets and towels.

"Great Stay"

10.0

This Hotel is one of the only I've stayed at that was pet friendly and had so much room for my dog, very open space, large parking lot. From the outside, yes it does look a bit run down, but don't let that fool you. There is a great courtyard area inside that has a heated pool, plenty of tables to sit and relax with the large pretty plants. It also has a small game room area with a pool table and a ping pong table. The room was very neat and clean. Extremely roomy. Price was great for being able to have my dog with me. The front desk clerk was very friendly. Very close to the interstate for easy access and close to stores and fast food business's as well.

"BEWARE: No Breakfast During the Week"

6.0

This is an older motel. The outside looks a little rundown except for the green outside doors to the rooms. The desk clerk was friendly and quoted me a higher price than on TripAdvisor. When I mentioned it was $65 on TripAdvisor she gave it to me for that price. She ran my credit card and gave me the hotels copy to sign. She went over the usual disclaimers and had me sign as we chatted. It’s was raining hard and I mentioned about it being a long day on the road. While I was reading over the disclaimer and signing she got a call and took it. After I finished initializing and signing in the proper places she told me I was finished as she continued to talk on the phone. It was definitely a business call so that was fine. As I started to leave she motioned for me to wait. She mentioned something about forgetting to enter my credit card information in the computer and requested my card again. She had finished her call, swiping my card again and typing a little on the computer she showed me were our room was located and how to get to breakfast that was served from 7-9. We found our room and parked right in front of our door room 236 concerned by a mini river flowing by our parking spot. We were right next to a glass door that leads to the vending and interior of the hotel which was pretty dark and overly warm. There was a keypad on the side but I didn’t need to use my key to enter. Our room was big, and clean with 4 pillows a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker with regular and decaf coffee as well as all the fixings. The room was hot upon entering so we started the ac as we unloaded. It didn’t take long to cool the room. We turned in for the night and was just about to doze off when the ac stopped. Upon checking it out I discovered there wasn’t an option to run the fan continuously so I changed the fan setting to low figuring it may have frozen. When I was finally able to fall asleep I was awakened by the phone ringing which startled both myself and my spouse. It was the lady from the front desk letting me know that they don’t serve breakfast during the week. She apologized for giving me the wrong information but she had only been working a few weeks. Being that I was still half asleep it never dawned on me to inform her that is not what is posted on TrpAdvisor. By this time we were more than a little aggravated and feared we would be unable to get back to sleep. We did eventually get to sleep off and on just like the ac unit. We did hear road noise and a train when the ac was off. When we went to checkout the front door was locked so we left. There were only 3 other cars in the parking lot. I suspected that was the reason breakfast was not being offered- there were too few of us to bother with the expense. I don’t think we will be back. Breakfast is a must in requirements for me to consider staying at a hotel. My rating is based on the cleanliness of the room with all the amenities, the room size, and convenience of parking at the door

"Brrrr! The pool is ice cold!"

4.0

I paid an extra $30 to stay in a Newton motel with an indoor pool. It was so cold I could not swim. I waded in a little at a time and by the time I got to my hips, I decided it wasn't worth getting my swimsuit wet. So disappointed.
