Paulaner am Dom

Great location in the old town. Walkable to modern city. Great breakfast and very busy and good dinner restaurant. Inexpensive but excellent German food

We arrived late and check in was okay. This room had no sheets in the bed and was dirty and smelled very bad. We literally laid on top of the bed and remained dressed. We were placed on the first floor and awoken in the morning to loud banging- resulting in absolutely no sleep. The Reaturant said it was open when we arrived at 10:30 pm until 12 midnight but it closed just before 11pm.

Liked everything, especially location . Didn’t like nosiness at night from the street.

Very disappointed. Not speaking German I wanted a hotel with reception and relaxing space like a foyer. Reception not manned . Bad smell in bathroom . Pillows awful. No one in reception in morning to tell us breakfast was included . Small room with lack of choice and not appealing so ate elsewhere . Worst hotel despite great reviews which Is why I chose it . Never again

Paulaner Am Dom was a great place to stay in Frankfurt to experience the beautiful Romerberg area nearby. It was quiet and very safe and parking was fairly close by but I wish it was closer and Paulaner communicated where it was to guests prior to arriving, especially international guests. I thought the room was pretty with its balcony and view (I got the premium room) but I wish the floors were more cleanly and the room had a bit more amenities. There was no A/C, which wasn’t a big issue since I went in April and it was colder out, but also there wasn’t even a mini-fridge and the bed felt more like sleeping on a cot. For the price and location, it was well worth it, though. I would stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay here in Frankfurt. Great location, tasty breakfast, and clean rooms. Nice resturant downstairs and enjoyed hearing the church bells in the morning.

I hate to write negative reviews, especially because all the staff at this property were great. But, our room was in a terrible spot. Our room had no air conditioning...which was okay when we opened the windows. However, there was an outside restaurant under our second floor room. The patrons were having a great and LOUD time! It made it very difficult to sleep. Just request an inside room and you'll be fine!

I like the older German charm and location the most. Only negative was the breakfast online said 7am and we had to leave for airport at 8 am. But when we checked in they said sorry breakfast don't start till 8am on weekends. So we kind of felt a little like we threw that money away. It was a shame my daughter and I was looking forward to that breakfast before we left and it was part of the reason we picked the hotel. The staff had 2 young ladies at the counter. Both of them were amazing and wonderful. Love this place will stay here every time if I can when I am in Frankfurt.

Property is a little run-down, rooms very bland. No shampoo, soaps etc in the shower. Stayed there night before a holiday, a good deal of noise from the attached bar.
