We checked in, proceeded to our room, then immediately found alternate accommodation, despite having pre-paid for 2 nights. The whole place smelt like a combination of stale urine and cigarette smoke that had infiltrated the rooms since the 80s. The decor was similarly dated. An older man occupied a space in the car park, rummaging and sorting through rubbish and looked as though he was a permanent fixture. It gave a derelict vibe despite positive Booking.com reviews which was surprising.

Loved the room had little kitchenette easy to city and car park as we are country people and travel 600 km to city so we need to know we have car to return home
