Private Residence Kyoto Sakura

The hosts thought of everything. The apartment is perfect for a family visiting Kyoto. Just sitting in the apartment looking out the window put a smile on my face. The bath was very charming.

The only criticism I have is that the beds were too hard. But I loved the apartment.

We didn't have keys but the information about using the entrance code was clear and easy. The unit (we had the second floor) was comfortable and spacious enough so we 3 had enough privacy. We appreciated the information notebook with the instructions on how to use the various devices (kitchen items, tv etc). The neighborhood is quiet and the location is convenient for getting around. We liked that the stations (train and bus) and convenient stores were just a short easy walk. The unit is even nicer than the pictures, the furnishings were comfortable and the color palate soothing. We really enjoyed the use of the soaking tub after our many hours of touring the city. I'm glad we chose to stay here.

We got lucky by chance but it could be helpful to include suggestions of restaurants nearby to eat at.

The room is suitable for group or family guests. Room is neat and clean, all equipments are in well conditions. There are 2 toilets and 1 separate bathroom which is convenient. Short waiting time for elevator.

Should prepare some more extra towel, if some dirty we cannot find for replacement.

This is a great apartment which is thoughtfully designed for English speaking visitors. Very comfortable beds, good instructions for all appliances etc, well equiped kitchen, Netflix, combined washer/dryer and enough space for a family of 5. It was the best accommodation we stayed at in Japan. It is a 20 min walk from Kyoto station or there is a bus a few minutes walk away. Shichijo station is a 5 min walk away but this line doesn’t connect to Kyoto station. We used this line to get to Nara and Osaka though. Restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance. There is also a McDonald's close by which we used for breakfast a few days. The door code was very convenient as we could go out separately and not worry about who had the key. I would highly recommend this apartment for families.

The apartment was big, cozy.

The apartment was a little far from the center.

Good location, 50 metres to Kamo River. 20 minutes walk to Kiyomizu-Dera. 15 minutes walk to Kyoto station. very nice residential area. the rooms are spacious, tidy and nice. The kitchen is spacious also. all the quipments are ready for cooking.

there is nothing i can complaint. all is perfect.

Double bathrooms and sinks were great

We couldn't access the balconies so you really shouldn't promote them - since guests can't use them
