The bathroom was cleaned but housekeeping could of asked us if we needed more towels for the bathroom

I booked and paid for my room in full through Zip Pay, a third-party partner of Booking.com. However, upon arrival, the front desk agent charged my card again, stating it was only for a deposit. Instead, I was charged multiple times for the room as well as duplicate deposit charges, which caused my account to become overdrawn. When I tried to calmly explain the situation, the customer service I received was completely unacceptable. The front desk agent became hostile, yelling and speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. At no point did I raise my voice or use inappropriate language. Despite this, he ultimately refused to allow us to stay. This left me in an extremely difficult situation, as I had driven four hours for a doctor’s appointment and was left without accommodations. I also have video documentation of the entire interaction, which clearly shows how the situation was handled.
